Product use

This machine is suitable for determining the shear rate of plastics and polymer materials under certain temperature conditions, the fluidity of the melt under shear stress, including the apparent viscosity of thermoplastics.

III. Test items

1.  Constant speed shear test: measure shear stress and shear rate curves, shear viscosity and shear rate curves

2.  Constant pressure shear test: measure the shear viscosity and shear rate curve

3.  Step shear rate test: Different shear rates can be set according to user requirements, and shear stress and

     shear rate curves, shear viscosity and shear rate curves can be measured. During the experiment, the

     fracture of the melt and the minimum flow pressure and shear rate of the melt can be determined based

     on the changes in the curves

a)  Flow/non flow testing: measuring the relationship between viscosity and temperature, accurately

     determining the minimum flow velocity

b)  Melt fracture and flow instability: Study of flow instability phenomena, including melt fracture and melt

     cracking
